I had a full day at Martin Mere today, the highlight was probably this glossy
ibis on Woodend marsh which showed well, but only in flight. Also here, I
heard a water pipit call from the marsh next to the Gordon Taylor hide and
then later I saw it fly up and drop in near the Tomlinson hide. I headed over
there but couldn't relocate it.
The ring-necked duck was still showing well from the Discovery hide.
Cattle egret, one of at least 10 today.
Great white egret.
Stonechat.
