On my way north to a job in Lothian, I took the opportunity of calling in at
Lindisfarne today. It's one of my favourite birding spots, so whilst there
wasn't a lot around today it was still a pleasure to be here.
Eiders are always good on Lindisfarne.
There was evidence of passage with lots of chiffchaffs and goldcrests, and
quite a few blackcaps and willow warblers.
Grey plover.
I don't think I've ever seen roe deer on Lindisfarne previously.
Pilgrims way.
