Siskins and shelduck

Great to see a flock of 40+ siskins in the alders along the canal at Pennington Flash today. This is the largest flock that I have seen at the flash in nearly 10 years.

Two shelduck were in Ramsdales and are the officially the first spring migrants of the year to my mind!

Robin.

Black-headed gull 2T62, ringed at the flash as an adult on 16th October 2020, seen at a breeding colony in Poland in the summer of 2022 and now back at the flash for at least it's third winter.
