More on the fruit bats of Centennial park.
Plenty of activity at the fruit bat roost today, with lots of noisy disputes causing some bats to fly around which surprised me. I noticed that some were females with youngsters clinging to them. It's an impressive colony, there must be 2000 at least.
You can clearly see a baby clinging to its mother in this photo.
