White Wagtail 2+
Goldeneye 3 females
Gadwall 6 (4 males, 2 females)
Tufted Duck 28 (20 males, 8 females)
Goldcrest 2
There were at least 2 White Wagtails with the small flock of Pied Wagtails which have been at the mere for a week or two. They were the first I have seen at the mere since 2005. They are also the first Whites I have seen this year.
Female White Wagtail. The pale grey flanks (amongst other things) make it a White Wagtail as opposed to the darker flanked Pieds it was associating with. The pale grey nape makes it a female.
