Winter Hill and Rivington Pike
Today we walked from Wallsuches at Horwich to Winter Hill and then on to Rivington Pike. It was a glorious autumnal day, warm with not a breathe of wind, and blue skies and golden trees. Two Crossbills flew over Matchmore Lane, Goldcrests were numerous everywhere and there was a male Stonechat just below the Pike. Holdens Farm from Burnt Edge and Lever Park.
