Safe to say that the glossy ibis at Martin Mere showed well this morning! With
much of the site frozen over it was in the marshy grassland adjacent to the
Gordon Taylor hide and seemed quite unperturbed by my presence.
The ring-necked duck hadn't been reported for a couple of days, not surprising
on Christmas Day, but I was surprised that there was no news yesterday.
However today it was in it's usual spot right in front of the Discovery hide
with pochard, pintail and whooper swans.
Great white egret.
Marsh harrier.
Two marsh harriers!
