First thing this morning I called in at Llanddulas, or to be more precise, Lysfean Station Road, to have another look at the impressive scoter flock, currently estimated at 20,000 birds. Apart from Common Scoter, the only other birds I could pick out were 3 Velvet Scoters. There have been at least 3 Surf Scoters with the flock.
