Fabulous to see at least three clouded yellows from the Hale hide this morning. Surely the first wave of clouded yellows which arrived two weeks ago in our area must have died off now, and these seem in pretty good nick so perhaps these are new arrivals.
No chance of a decent photo from the hide of course, and probably not even if I was outside the hide, but just great to see them here!
There were a few walls on the wing today, Martin Mere is virtually the only place where I see them these days.
