Wombats, Pademelons and Possums
Cradle Mountain is a great place to see wombats and we saw several today, including this adult with a baby. They seem larger and more fury in Tasmania than those I have seen elsewhere in Australia.
This seems a particularly large and pale animal.
Red-bellied pademelon. Pademelons are like small wallabies. This photo was taken at Cradle Mountain but we have several visiting the lawn in front of our accomodation every night.
Common brushtail possum in the trees near our accomodation.
