Our first day on Orkney following a cetacean free crossing on the Hamnavoe
this morning and our first stop was the Brough of Birsay and Skipi Geo, where
we found a small arctic tern colony in amongst the glorious thrift on top of
one of the stacks.
Hooded crow.
Carder bee.
Northern marsh orchid.
Heath spotted orchid.
