Another great days birding, starting at Hartlepool Headland we had great views of a very obliging adult summer plumage bluethroat. Then we moved to Saltholme RSPB where we heard a great reed warbler and saw two whiskered terns, presumably the same birds which were at Sandbach last week. Also at Saltholme, five spoonbills and two little gulls.
